KITCHEN EXTENSION & REFURBISHMENT PROJECT
Work starts 6 July 2026 on the KITCHEN EXTENSION & REFURBISHMENT PROJECT
It will take Millvale Building Construction approximately 12 weeks to complete
This project will see the kitchen extended in line with the front of the hall.
There will be new kitchen units, work tops, fridges, freezers, glass washer, dishwasher, wall kettle with an electric water battery for heating the hot water.
The kitchen will be completely rewired with new lighting and heating.
The Gas meter & supply will be removed
This will be an important upgrade to the hall and its future giving it the capacity to hold large events which need space for catering & a Bar.
The estimated cost is a staggering £89,430
It is important to this now because of the ever increasing costs.
Grants have been secured from
The National Lottery Awards For All £20,000
Offenham Parish Council £6,000
Wychavon District Council S106 Funding £28,368
The Garfield Weston Foundation £10,000
Total Funds raised £64,368
There is currently a short fall of £25,062
The short fall will be funded by £15,062 from hall funds
The rest will be funded by a low cost £10,000 loan to be repaid over 8 years.
This will be paid quarterly and fundraising events will take place to cover this.
Initially we will have to take a £25,000 bridging loan util we can claim the grants funding.
